Phone Centers
McMillion Research incorporates a 125 CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing) station telephone center in their headquarters in Charleston, WV. The center is completely networked with the most state-of-the-art LAN (local area network) and wiring systems available.
Web Surveys
Each station is web ready, allowing interviews to be conducted over DSL technology, directly to outside hosts or in-house on McMillion Research's own web server.
CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing)
For those choosing the more conventional methods of telephone data collection, McMillion Research offers CfMC programming and interviewing software which provides the speed, quality, and convenience for all telephone data collection needs. CfMC is among the most advanced and preferred surveying software available. It enables detailed sample control, direct interviewer monitoring and communication, as well as providing one of the best data processing packages industry wide.
Predictive & PRO-T-S Automated Dialers
Again using the latest in technology, McMillion Research utilizes the PRO-T-S Automated Dialers on their interviewing stations. This creates a production oriented environment while maintaining the best in quality control. The automated dialing system enhances production by eliminating non-working, and facsimile numbers, while recycling busys and no answers, minimizing time between dials for interviewers. The system is interviewer initiated, meaning a number is not produced until the interviewer is on the line and ready to interview.
Quality Assurance and Supervision
McMillion Research maintains an eight to one, interviewer to supervisor ratio to insure the utmost in quality assurance. All surveys are pretested and briefed prior to implementation by the project manager and supervisory staff. Interviewers complete both a hard-copy and CATI briefing prior to a study's start. McMillion Research validates no less than 10% of each interviewers work per project. Validations are performed via two methods; direct monitoring and callback validations. Both are conducted by members of the supervisory team.
Interviewers are trained using the McMillion Research Training Guide, which was developed according to the standard prescribed in the BASES/BURKE Institute and M/A/R/C field training manuals. After this three day process, interviewers are placed on a probationary level until they pass the necessary skill evaluations merited through direct monitoring procedures.
Editing is conducted on all CATI projects by the Data Processing Department of McMillion Research. All open-ended questions are quality checked for proper probing and clarity.
Reporting
Project reporting is taken very serious at McMillion Research. At the conclusion of each shift, reports are sent directly to the client via e-mail or facsimile. Standard production information such as interview length, incidence, and quota standing is easily reported, while more intricate information such as marginal and interim data reporting is also available on a daily/nightly basis depending on the nature of the project.
Sampling
McMillion Research utilizes in-house Marketing Systems Group - GENESYS system which allows us to pull sample for each project upon request. Quick turn-around is vital on most projects and the in-house system allows us to meet a client's most intricate sampling needs.
Data Transfer
Data can be sent as often as needed through direct modem transfer, e-mail, or a mailed diskette.
